It's cheesy. It's campy. The special effects are laughable. And yet, They Live is scarily relatable in our age of smartphone surveillance, Big Tech data mining, online propaganda and what now feels like non-stop advertising messages. We don't have those cool glasses, (or that sweet mullet,) but we can unplug!
